As a native speaker with nearly a decade of experience working with Polish students, I’ve heard them make the same mistakes over and over again.

That’s why I wrote this book – to help Poles who want to speak English correctly and fix their most common mistakes. These are the mistakes that you make every day without even realizing it.

Many of these mistakes are calques, but I also explain how Poles accidentally say things which are rude in English because of the cultural differences between Poland, Britain and America.

I believe that this is the first book for learning English written by a native speaker specifically for Poles.
